Let’s start by expressing our sincere thanks for the many nice comments we received on our first message. Apparently many liked it very much that a new restaurant will be opened on the old site of Rusty’s with its own look and concept. The first permits have now almost been issued and we can submit the final drawings together with the architect. Let’s just say, to be continued.

There is a lot involved in devising and executing a concept. We have now done research into what fits best in this place. What is already in the area and how can you create new diligence, which you feel comfortable with. But starting a new organization also stands or falls with the personnel involved. That is why we can already inform you that we have found a manager in Mischa Pot who knows all the ins and outs.

Since 01 June this year Mischa has started with all the preparations needed to make a good start. Given his vast experience in the hospitality industry, we have a lot of confidence in him. His work now consists of making a complete inventory of everything needed to set up a successful organization. Just say from teaspoon to payment terminal. He maintains primary contact with all parties involved. He is therefore the first point of contact with regard to Restaurant MESA. We have received many reactions to the name MESA. How did you come up with that, what brought you to that name. The name originated from the names of Mees and Saar. The grandchildren of one of the owners. This resulted in MESA. Which ultimately means table in Spanish. Frankly, the undersigned didn’t know that. So a nice result. After all, our name is now on every bill you receive from our colleagues. You can’t imagine better marketing.
